Kate Middleton was thought to have gone into labour with the royal baby, four days before her due date, when helicopters were spotted over Kensington Palace this morning.
Twitter exploded with speculation that the soon-to-be-born Prince or Princess of Cambridge was on the way when emergency services personnel – and an ambulance – were sighted at the royal residence. But the London Ambulance Service have since stated, via the Evening Standard, that the helicopter and ambulance are 100% NOT connected to Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge’s first child.
“Kensington Palace helicopter and ambulance ‘categorically’ NOT royal baby… Woman ill and person broke collar bone.”
That’s right; there’s no royal baby on the way just yet. Just a person falling ill and someone else breaking their collar bone EXTREMELY CLOSE to Kensington Palace.
We’re all on edge now, thanks to that false alarm.We can’t wait to meet the royal baby when he or she arrives on (apparently) July 13th!
